Former Bulldog Olsen Recalled by Blackhawks

Chicago, IL (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD defenseman Dylan Olsen has been recalled to the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, that coming after veteran Steve Montador was placed on injured reserve.

The 21-year-old Olsen made his NHL debut on January 5, recording four shots on goal, five hits, and one blocked shot in two games with the Blackhawks.

Olsen was the 28th overall selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has four goals and three assists this season for the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
