Wilkes-Barre, PA (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD goaltender Kenny Reiter made his professional debut on Saturday night, starting in goal for Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.
Reiter made 26 saves on 29 shots as the Sound Tigers fell 3-2 to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Reiter, a Pittsburgh native, finishes his career at UMD with a .912 saves percentage and a 2.37 goals against average.
His overall record with the Bulldogs was (52-26-11), and he is also tied with Alex Stalock for most career shutouts with nine.
The Sound Tigers fall to (40-26-3-6) this season with the loss.
