Cloquet, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Four former members of the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College football team will get a chance to play Division I football in the fall.

Defensive back Kevin Eugene signed a national letter of intent with Mississippi Valley State University on Wednesday, and defensive tackle Ron Johnson signed his letter with Savannah State University.

In addition to those two, linebacker Worrell Troup accepted an offer as a preferred walk-on at Florida International University and linebacker Jameel Franklin signed with Southern Mississippi University.

Those four are joined by two other former Thunder players who will continue their playing careers this fall.

Quarterback Michael Davis and wide receiver Adrian Thompson will both join the St. Scholastica Saints next season, a team that won its conference with a (10-0) regular season record in 2011.
