(Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Marshall boy's hockey team earned the #1 seed in the Section 7A playoffs, which will begin with first-round games on February 21.
The Hilltoppers' first playoff game will be February 23 against the winner of a first-round game between #8-seed Silver Bay and #9-seed Ely.
In the other first round game, #7-seed Eveleth-Gilbert will face #10-seed Two Harbors, with #2-seed Hibbing-Chisholm awaiting that game's winner.
Also on February 23, #4 Duluth Denfeld will face #5-seed Virgina-MIB and #3-seed International Falls will face #6-seed Greenway.
The section's semifinals game will be played February 25 and the championship game will be played February 29 at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.
