Illikainen Named to Class AA All-State Team

Grand Rapids, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Grand Rapids-Greenway senior forward Molly Illikainen was named Tuesday to the Class AA all-state team by the Minnesota Girl's Hockey Coaches Association (MGHCA).

Illikainen had 28 goals and 17 assists this year for the Lightning, helping lead the team to the Section 7AA championship.

Three players from the Northland earned honorable mention on the MGHCA Class A all-state team, and their names are listed below.

Michele McDonald (International Falls)
Taylor Guzzo (Silver Bay)
Dory Johnson (Hibbing-Chisholm)
