Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD senior defenseman Brady Lamb signed on Thursday a professional contract with the NHL's Calgary Flames.
Lamb, an assistant captain this year for the Bulldogs, scored nine goals and had 22 assists in 2011-12, helping UMD to its third NCAA tournament in four years.
The 23-year-old Calgary native played in 139 games during his four-year career at UMD, racking up 22 goals and 45 assists.
