Irwin, Wong Net WCHA Third Team Honors

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD's Haley Irwin and Jessica Wong were both named Thursday to the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) all-conference third team.

Irwin, a senior captain, has 16 goals and 36 assists to lead this year's team in scoring. Wong, a junior defender, has 11 goals and 19 assists this year for the Bulldogs.

Freshmen Jenna McParland and Brigette Lacquette werre also named Thursday to the WCHA all-rookie team. McParland ranks second on the team with 20 goals this year, and Lacquette has scored 19 points as a defender for the Bulldogs.
