Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Those not comfortable on wheels will now have a chance to participate in North America's largest inline marathon.
Northshore Inline Marathon officials announced Thursday the race will add a running half marathon to the annual event, beginning with the race this September.
Skeeter Moore, the marathon's executive director, said the decision was made in order to expand the popular event and give non-rollerbladers a chance to compete on the track.
This year's 17th annual Northshore Inline Marathon, along with the new running event, will be held on September 15.
More information about the race and registration can be found at Northshore Inline Marathon web site.
