Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Lakeview Christian Academy junior Anders Broman became the most prolific scorer in northeastern Minnesota high school basketball history this past Friday, scoring 45 points in a win over Cherry.
That total put Broman past 1991 Chisholm graduate Joel McDonald's mark of 3,292 career varsity points, making him the highest scoring player to ever come from this part of the state.
Broman added 12 rebounds and nine assists in the Lions' 98-65 win over Cherry. Lakeview Christian Academy is now (17-3) overall this season.
