Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica men's hockey team climbed one spot to 13th this week in national Divsion III polls following a 3-3 tie with UW-Superior and a 3-2 win over UW-Stout.
The Saints first rallied from thre goals down in the third period on Thursday to earn the tie with their Twin Ports rival, then went on the road to beat UW-Stout on Saturday.
St. Scholastica, unbeaten in its last seven games, is now (12-5-4) this season and (7-3-4) in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
The Saints now sit in second place in the NCHA, just one point behind conference-leading St. Norbert.
The team will host two NCHA games this weekend, first playing UW-Stevens Point on Friday and then hosting the Green Knights on Saturday.
