Spartans' Foursome Earns WI All-State Honors

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Four members of the Superior boy's hockey team earned all-state honors on Tuesday, less than a week after the Spartans were ousted from the WIAA state tournament.

Defenseman Brett Bukowski was named to the first team, while forwards Nolan Holcombe and Daniel Litchke and defenseman Brady Uotinen were given honorable mention.

The Spartans qualified for their 34th overall state tournament this season, where they fell to eventual state champion Notre Dame Academy.
