(Northland's NewsCenter) --- Three UW-Superior and two St. Scholastica women's hockey players were named Thursday to the all-conference team for the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
Forward Dani Schultz, defenseman Kaiti Graham, and goaltender Shanley Peters were the three Yellowjackets tabbed for the all-NCHA honor.
Sisters Nina and Monika Waidacher, both forwards, were the two Saints named Thursday to the all-conference team.
St. Scholastica's Michelle Fisher, Brenna Flatley, and Alana Levido were all given honorable mention, as was UW-Superior's Sheryl Kaskiw.
Schultz and Nina Waidacher were also named to the NCHA all-rookie team, as was St. Scholastica's Alex Blair.
Both the Saints and Yellowjackets open the NCHA playoffs this weekend, with UW-Superior going at home against St. Norbert and St. Scholastica on the road to Lake Forest.
