Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UMD women's hockey team did not crack the top 10 of the U.S. College Hockey Online poll for the second straight week, that following a home sweep of Minnesota State-Mankato.
The Bulldogs were unranked last week for the first time in program history and this week received 11 votes but still were outside of the nation's top 10 teams.
UMD begins play in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) playoffs this weekend with a best-of-three series against Ohio State.
Friday's game is set for 3:07 p.m., Saturday's for 3:37 p.m., and Sunday's for 3:07 p.m. if needed. All games will be played at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.
