Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD senior captain and Duluth native Jack Connolly will be signing autographs on Saturday in an effort to help raise money for "Defending the Blueline."
The national organization is dedicated to ensuring children of those serving in the military can participate in the sport of hockey, and all proceeds from Saturday's event will go to the Stauber Brothers Military Heroes Hockey Camp.
Money will be raised by selling autographed items, including t-shirts, mini sticks, and pictures. People may also bring their own items for Connolly, the 2012 Hobey Baker award winner, to sign.
The fundraising event will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on April 14 at Stauber Brothers Sports and Custom Apparel in Duluth.
