Yellowjackets' Aalfs Named WIAC Player of the Week

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UW-Superior senior guard Ben Aalfs was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the week for the second time this season, it was announced on Tuesday.

Aalfs hit a last-second shot to propel the Yellowjackets to victory on Saturday against UW-Whitewater, finishing with a team-high 18 points.

Aalfs scored 25 points in all during the week to go along with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one blocked shot.

UWS will play their final game of the regular season on Saturday when UW-La Crosse will visit Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium, with tipoff set for 5:00 p.m.
