Yellowjackets Advance, Saints Lose Opener

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UW-Superior women's hockey team advanced to the Northern Collegiate Hockey Asssociation semifinals, and the St. Scholastica women's hockey team lost its first-ever playoff game on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets advanced with a 5-3 home win over St. Norbert, completing a weekend playoff sweep of the Green Knights.

The Saints, meanwhile, fell 4-2 on Saturday on the road to Lake Forest. Game two of that weekend playoff series is set for Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
