Yellowjackets' Lewis Jumps to WIAC Honor

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UW-Superior junior Traelynn Lewis was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) athlete of the week, it was announced on Wednesday.

Lewis is currently ranked eighth in the country among Division III triple jumpers and this past Thursday posted a mark of 38 feet, 3.25 inches.

On Saturday, then, she placed second in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of 59.41 seconds and ran the anchor leg of the first place 4x400-meter relay team for the Yellowjackets.
