  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The only unbeaten team in Minnesota boy's high school hockey, the Hermantown Hawks, deservedly earned the top seed in the Section 5A playoffs on Thursday morning.

• Duluth Marshall "Divas" Off to 10th Straight State Meet

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Marshall danceline is off to the state meet for the tenth year in a row and this year are trying to defend last year's Class A Jazz state championship.

• Greyhounds Grab Top Playoff Seed in Section 7AA

  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Spending most of the season as the state's top-ranked team and suffering only one loss made it no surprise the Duluth East boy's hockey team earned the #1 seed in the Section 7AA playoffs.

• Danelski, Proctor-Hermantown Capture Alpine Skiing State Title

  Biwabik, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Megan Danelski is coming home with two state alpine skiing championships after Wednesday, winning the individual title as well as and the team title with Proctor-Hermantown.

• LSC All-Conference Selections Announced

  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The all-conference selections for the Lake Superior Conference were announced Wednesday night in alpine and nordic skiing as well as girl's hockey.

• Hilltoppers Draw #1 Seed in Section 7A Playoffs

  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Marshall boy's hockey team earned the #1 seed in the Section 7A playoffs, which will begin with first-round games on February 21.

• Former Yellowjacket Brusletten on WIAC All-Time Team

  Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UW-Superior grappler Jerry Brusletten has been named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (WIAC) all-time wrestling team, it was announced on Wednesday.

• UW Schools to Leave NCHA for WIAC in 2014-15 Season

  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Five schools, including UW-Superior, will leave the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) following the 2013-14 season, it was officially announced Wednesday.

• Gronseth Scores Two as #1 Hermantown Stays Perfect

  Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Bo Gronseth scored both goals as the #1-ranked Hermantown Hawks stayed undefeated this season with a 2-0 win Tuesday over #14-ranked Little Falls.

• Toninato, Randolph Lead #1 Greyhounds to (23-1)

  Hastings, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #1-ranked Duluth East boy's hockey team moved to (23-1) this season with an 8-0 win on Tuesday over Hastings.
