  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The St. Scholastica women's basketball team clinched a conference playoff berth on Saturday afternoon with a 65-50 win over Bethany Lutheran.

• #13 Saints Clinch NCHA Two Seed with Win

  Eau Claire, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #13-ranked St. Scholastica men's hockey team clinched the number two seed in the upcoming Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) playoffs with a 5-3 win over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.

• #1 Hermantown Moves to (23-0) with Home Win

  Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #1-ranked Hermantown boy's hockey team stayed the only unbeaten team in the state on Saturday afternoon with a 6-0 win over Red Wing.

• Former Bulldog Olsen Recalled by Blackhawks

  Chicago, IL (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD defenseman Dylan Olsen has been recalled to the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks, that coming after veteran Steve Montador was placed on injured reserve.

• Former Bulldogs Connolly, Stalock Playing Well in Pros

  (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Former UMD Bulldogs Mike Connolly and Alex Stalock are both playing well as of late for minor league affiliates of the NHL's San Jose Sharks.
