  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The best boy's high school hockey players from the Duluth area and the Iron Range will take to the ice Tuesday night for the 14th annual St. Luke's Orthopedics & Sports Medicine all-star game.

  Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) announced Monday that three former UW-Superior greats will be among its inaugural hall of fame class.

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD senior captain and Hobey Baker finalist Jack Connolly addressed the crowd at AMSOIL Arena on Saturday night following the team's 3-2 double overtime win over Minnesota State-Mankato.

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD junior Mike Seidel scored in the second overtime of Saturday night's game to give the Bulldogs a 3-2 win over Minnesota State-Mankato and a spot in the WCHA Final Five tournament.

• Hermantown's Plante Named Class A Coach of the Year

  St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Hermantown boy's hockey head coach Bruce Plante was named Minnesota's Class A coach of the year on Sunday afternoon, one day after his team fell 5-1 to St. Thomas Academy in the state championship.

• Broman Becomes MN Single Season Scoring Leader

  Hibbing, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Lakeview Christian Academy junior Anders Broman set a new Minnesota boy's basketball single season scoring record on Saturday night in his team's Section 7A quarterfinal game.

• Toninato, Repensky Named to AA All-Tournament Team

  St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Duluth East seniors Dom Toninato and Nate Repensky were named Saturday to the Class AA all-tournament team after helping their team to the consolation championship.

• #1 Hawks Finish Second Again at State Tourney

  St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- For the third time in three years, the Hermantown boy's hockey team has finished as the Class A runners-up at the MSHSL state tournament.

• #1 Greyhounds Claim Class AA Consolation Title

  Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #1-ranked Duluth East boy's hockey team won the Class AA state consolation championship on Saturday with a 4-1 win over Eagan.

• Three Hawks Named to Class A All-Tournament Team

  St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Three members of the Hermantown boy's hockey team were named Saturday to the Class A all-tournament team following their loss in the state championship game.
