Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Legendary UMD football coach Jim Malosky served 40 years as the head man of the Bulldogs program, and now is the namesake of the team's stadium.
In 1998, replacing him as coach was a job it took two men to fill as Malosky took a medical leave of absence.
On this week's Sammy's Pizza Turn Back the Clock, Tom Hansen looks at the start of the 1998 season when Vince Repesh and Jim Malosky, Jr. were trying to fill the shoes of the UMD legend.
