(2-0) Bulldogs Stay #2 in AFCA Top 25 Poll

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team stayed at #2 in this week's American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Division II poll, the team's third straight week at that spot.

The (2-0) Bulldogs again did not receive a single first-place vote, with 29 of those going to defending NCAA Division II champion and #1-ranked Pittsburg State.

The full results of this week's AFCA poll can be seen on the American Football Coaches' Association web site.

UMD beat Winona State 38-16 this past Saturday in the Bulldogs' home opener, stretching the team's home conference winning streak to 35 games.

The Bulldogs will next be in action on September 15 on to the road to Concordia-St. Paul, with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m.
