St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #2-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team set a school record for most offensive yards in a single game on Saturday night, part of a 70-24 win over Concordia-St. Paul.
The Bulldogs racked up 675 yards of total offense on Saturday night, with senior quarterback Chase Vogler accounting for 396 of that figure.
Vogler completed 22-of-26 passes for 296 yards and three touchdonws, and he also added 10 rushes for 100 yards and two scores in the winning effort.
Austin Sikorski was the team's second-leading rusher, finishing with 71 yards and two touchdowns. Superior native Joe Reichert, meanwhile, caught seven passes for 70 yards and a score.
UMD is now (3-0) this season and will next be in action on September 22 at home against Augustana, with that game being broadcast live in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network.
