#6 Bulldogs Make Quick Work of Visiting Peacocks

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Hibbing, Minn. native Kate Lange had 16 kills and 15 digs on Friday night as the #6-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team beat Upper Iowa 3-0 at Romano Gymnasium.

Herbster, Wis. native Maddy Siroin was one of three UMD players with nine kills in the winning effort, the other two being Monica Turner and Kalli Lochner.

UMD improves to (20-2) overall this season and (11-2) in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Bulldogs will next be in action October 20 at home against Winona State, with that match set for a 4:00 p.m. start.
