AHL Hartford Re-Signs Ex-Bulldog Forward Carroll

Hartford, CT (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) forward Andrew Carroll re-signed with the American Hockey League's (AHL) Hartford Wolfpack, the team announced on Wednesday.

Carroll spent 24 games with the Connecticut Whale last season, scoring one goal and adding four assists for five points.

The 6-foot, 205-pound Carroll also played in 36 ECHL games in the 2012-13 season for the Idaho Steelheads.

In 148 total games in the AHL, Carroll has totaled 19 points.

During his time at UMD, Carroll totaled 29 goals and 28 assists while playing in 153 games for the Bulldogs. He was a three-year team captain, and he was also the first-ever sophomore to be selected as co-captain of the UMD squad.

The Hartford Wolfpack are the AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers.
