Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's soccer team is back from a 10-day preseason trip to western Europe, and now the Bulldogs are ready to focus on the 2014 season.

Head coach Greg Cane is hoping the trip to Germany, Austria, and Italy will serve as good incentive to be ready to work as the 2014 season approaches.

"Hopefully it will rejuvenate their whole impression of the game and what it means to them," Cane said. "Maybe that will bring a little bit more to how they prepare and how we perform in the fall."

The Bulldogs will open the 2014 season on Sept. 5 against Southwest Baptist.
