Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) head coach Matt Bowen left Bemidji State to join the Bulldogs, and on Saturday night he and his new team fell to his old prorgam 66-55 at Romano Gymnasium.

UMD's Jake Hottenstine led all scorers with 17 points in the contest, but three players scored in double digits for Bemidji State to lead the winning effort.

The Bulldogs are now (3-4) overall this season and (1-2) in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
