Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team learned on Sunday its first-round opponent in the first round of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) playoffs, with that being #4-seeded Wisconsin.
The Bulldogs finished the program's 48th final regular season as a member of the WCHA in ninth place, 12 points back of co-champions St. Cloud State and Minnesota.
UMD and Wisconsin will start their best-of-three series on March 15, with that game set for 7:07 p.m. at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.
