Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A three-win week for the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team helped them move up a spot to fifth in this week's American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Division II poll.

The Bulldogs are the third-highest ranked team in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) in this week's AVCA poll, with #1-ranked Southwest Minnesota State and #2-ranked Concordia-St. Paul the teams ahead.

UMD owns a (21-2) record this season, including a 3-1 home win over Concordia-St. Paul and a 3-0 loss to Southwest Minnesota State.

The Mustangs earned 28 of a possible 31 first-place votes in this week's poll, with the Golden Bears getting the final three. The entire AVCA Division II poll can be seen here.
