Anchorage, AK (NNCNOW.com) --- Tony Camaranesi and Chris Casto each scored two goals on Friday night as the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team earned a 5-1 win over the University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA).
Senior Jake Hendrickson opened the scoring just 1:26 into the first period, scoring his fourth of the season give UMD a 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs then added two more in the second period, with both Camaranesi and Casto scoring their first of the game. For Casto, the goal also marked his first of the 2012-13 season for UMD.
Each then tallied again in the third period to account for the 5-1 final scorem with Tyler Currier scoring late in the period for the Seawolves.
Matt McNeely earned the win in goal for the Bulldogs, stopping 16 of the 17 shots sent his way by UAA.
The Bulldogs improve to (6-8-3) overall this season and (4-6-3) in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) with the victory.
