Crandall, No. 19 UMD Routs No. 1 Minnesota

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) junior right winger Justin Crandall had a pair of goals and two assists as the No. 19 Bulldogs routed No. 1 Minnesota 6-2 on Sunday afternoon at Mariucci Arena.

Duluth, Minn. native Dominic Toninato got the scoring started for UMD with a shorthanded goal in the first. Just two minutes later, Tony Cameranesi added a goal followed by Crandall to make it 3-0.

Austin Farley and Kyle Osterberg each scored in the second period before Crandall added the team's final goal in the third.

UMD (6-5-1) will have next weekend off before hosting their first ever NCHC opponent St. Cloud State on Dec. 6-7.
