Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #2-ranked MSU-Mankato football team is the second-highest ranked opponent to ever play at Malosky Stadium, and first-year University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) head coach Curt Wiese says that will bring some emotion to his guys come Saturday night.

"We expect them flying out of the tunnel and being ready to go," Wiese said. "We hope for a big crowd on Saturday night that will give our guys a lot of energy. The fans should be prepared to see a high-quality Division II football game on Saturday."

UMD is ranked seventh in the nation and has won 41 straight home games against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents, with that streak dating back to the 2000 season.

Both teams enter the game with (2-0) record this year, and Saturday's game is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start. It can be seen on live television in the Northland on the My 9 Sports Network.
