Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) preseason coaches' poll, which was released on Thursday morning.

The Bulldogs posted an overall record of (41-13) last season and were (19-5) within the NSIC, good enough to earn a share of the conference's regular season championship.

UMD returns 10 letter winners, five of them starters, from last year's squad and also boasts the reigning NSIC coach of the year in Jen Banford.
