Fargo, ND (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Dom Toninato had two assists on Friday night in the Fargo Force's 5-4 shootout win over Des Moines in the United State Hockey League (USHL), setting a new Fargo single-season record in the process.

Toninato now has 27 goals and 40 assists this year for the Force, adding that to his one goal and zero assists in just four games two years ago to put him at 68 career points in the USHL.

Having committed to play his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD), Toninato was a senior captain with Duluth East and helped the Greyhounds to a (29-2) overall record and a spot in the MSHSL Class AA tournament.

The future Bulldog was drafted in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round with the 126th overall pick.
