Ex-'Dog Harss, Germany Take 7th Place

Sochi, Russia (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) goaltender Jennifer Harss and the German women's hockey team ousted Japan 3-2 on Tuesday to claim seventh place at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Viona Harrer racked up 27 saves for the Germans while Susann Gotz added a goal and an assist as the Germans beat Japan for the second time at the Games.
