Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Over 40 former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) hockey players gathered at Northland Country Club on Saturday afternoon for their annual golf outing.

The one-day competition brought together Bulldog alums ranging in ages from 22-years-old to 70-years old. While the former Division I athletes are still competitive, it's more about exchanging stories and having fun.

"It's a huge range of guys from different eras, all come to meet each other and get to know that they're all in one Bulldog club," said Derek Plante, UMD's assistant hockey coach.

"It's fun to be out here and be back with the guys," said Justin Faulk, Carolina Hurricanes defenseman. "It's always a fun event, and it's nice to see some guys that you haven't seen all year from last summer. It's nice to be here."
