Four UMD Recruits Make CSS Final Ranks

(NNCNOW.com) --- Four University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey recruits, including two Northland natives, were listed on the final rankings released on Tuesday by the NHL's Central Scouting Service (CSS).

Minnesota Wilderness goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo was the highest-rated future Bulldog, coming in ninth among North American goalies after he posted an overall record of (21-6-0) and a 1.48 goals against average in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

Eagan senior defenseman Nick Wolff was the top-ranked skater set to come to UMD, coming in 89th among North American skaters after he totaled 12 goals and 16 assists with the Wildcats this past winter.

Former Cloquet-Esko-Carlton star Karson Kuhlman was the next UMD recruit on the list at 94th, that after he totaled 25 goals and 19 assists for Dubuque this winter in the United States Hockey League (USHL).

Former Hermantown standout Neal Pionk was the third and final skater on the the final rankings, coming in 146th after he gathered two goals and 21 assists this past winter with Sioux Falls of the USHL.
