Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hibbing, Minn. native and University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) senior outside hitter Kate Lange has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) volleyball offensive player of the week, it was announced on Monday.

Lange led the conference this past week with 52 kills in three Bulldogs victories, moving her to second all-time at UMD with 1,759. She is now just 84 shy of the program record, which is held by 2007 graduate Vicky Braegelmann.

This marks the second time this season Lange has garnered NSIC player of the week honors, with the other coming after the first week in September.
