Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team outshot Ohio State University 34-21 but needed a shootout to oust the Buckeyes thanks to a make from newcomer Katerina Mrazova on Saturday afternoon.

The Buckeyes goaltender Lisa Steffes stopped all 34 shots she faced while Bulldogs netminder Kayla Black finished with 21 saves.

Mrazova was the only shooter to convert in the shootout in just her third collegiate game.

UMD (11-8-4) and Ohio State will face off again on Sunday at AMSOIL at 3:07 p.m.
