Pioneers Blank Bulldogs in First AMSOIL Trip

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #10-ranked Denver men's hockey team made quite an impression in its first game at AMSOIL Arena, beating the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) 3-0 on Friday night.

Larkin Jacobson, Joey LaLeggia, and Nolan Zajac all scored goals for the Pioneers, and Juho Olkinoura made 26 saves to earn the shutout win.

The Bulldogs are now (10-12-3) overall and (8-8-3) in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).
