REACTION: Basaraba Makes His Pro Debut

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) senior forward Joe Basaraba made his professional debut on Wednesday night after signing a contract with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) earlier in the week.

The Fort Frances, Ontario native finished with eight goals and 10 assists in his final campaign for the Bulldogs and was also a member of the 2010-11 UMD team that won a national championship.

Basaraba had 28 goals and 28 assists over his four-year career with the Bulldogs and was a third-round draft pick of the Florida Panthers in the 2010 NHL Draft.
