Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Students began lining up nearly 24 hours before student season tickets went on sale for the 2012-13 men's hockey season, prepared to spend the night in order for a chance to see the games at AMSOIL Arena.

The ticket office opened at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, and in just four hours there had been more than 700 student season tickets sold for the men's hockey team.

Students brought video games, floor hockey, snacks, pillows, and some even had homework to keep them busy through the nearly 24-hour wait in UMD's hallway.

The men's hockey team was (25-10-6) in the 2011-12 season, earning its third trip to the NCAA Division I tournament in the past four seasons.
