Calgary, Alberta (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) sophomore forward Ashleigh Brykaliuk has been named to the Canada Under-22 development team, it was announced on Sunday.
Brykaliuk is one of 22 players that will participate later this month in a three-game series against the United States Under-22 team at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
As a freshman with the Bulldogs, Brykaliuk totaled 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 total points, the fourth-highest total for UMD.
Also participating in the development camp were UMD commit Catherine Daoust and former Bulldog Jessica Wong, but neither were selected for the final roster.
The three-game exhibition series for the United States and Canada starts on Aug. 21 and will wrap up Aug. 24.
