UMD's Lange Nominated as Athlete of the Year

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth senior outside hitter Kate Lange was nominated for the Collegiate Women Sports Awards 2013-13 NCAA II Athlete of the Year award, it was announced on Thursday.

Division II and Division III Athlete of the Year awards are given to the nation's top collegiate female athletes, chosen from 11 different sports.

The Hibbing native was also selected as the National Player of the Year by both the AVCA and Daktronics last week. Lange led the nation this season with 5.41 kills and 6.14 points per set.
