UMD's Vogler Named NSIC Offensive POW

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) quarterback Chase Vogler has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) offensive player of the week, it was announced on Monday.

Vogler had a career day on Saturday in his team's 70-24 win against Concordia-St. Paul, totaling 396 yards and five touchdowns in the Bulldogs' winning effort.

The UMD senior finished 22-of-26 passing for 296 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing 10 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bulldogs are now (3-0) this season and will next be in action on September 22 at home against Augustana, with that game set to start at 6:00 p.m.
