Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey coach Scott Sandelin says his team needs to find a way to close out series, that after his team earned a weekend split with Bemidji State by winning Friday and losing on Saturday.

UMD is now (5-2-1) in the first games of a two-game series and (0-6-2) in the second game, a trend which Sandelin says won't get you far in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).

Sandelin made his comments while appearing on the weekly show, "Bulldog Country," which airs Friday and Saturday nights on the My 9 Sports Network.
