Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Jeremy Reierson made an impact on Saturdays for the past two years at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), and now he is hoping to make a similar impact on Sundays for the Minnesota Vikings.
Reierson was participating in day two on Friday of the Minnesota Vikings rookie camp, taking part in drills alongside first-round draft picks and fellow rookies Anthony Barr and Teddy Bridgewater.
The Rio, Wis. native is the third former Bulldog in the past two seasons to take part in a Vikings rookie camp --- joining Garth Heikkinen and Jake Bscherer --- and that's a big source of pride for his college head coach.
"I think it speaks to the degree of football our guys play every Saturday afternoon. Certainly the majority of guys are not going to go on to the NFL, but to have three guys in camps over the past two years speaks volumes about where we're at as a football program."
The Minnesota rookie camp started on Thursday and will run through Sunday.
