Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team saw a two-goal third period lead disappear on Saturday night, forced to settle for a 2-2 tie with Wisconsin at AMSOIL Arena.

Tony Camaranesi and Duluth native Keegan Flaherty scored goals to give UMD a 2-0 lead after two periods, but Wisconsin controlled the final stanza to earn the tie.

Mark Zengerle and Michael Mersch were the goal scorers for the Badgers, who took three of a possible four points in the weekend series.

Freshman goaltender Matt McNeely made his second consecutive start for the Bulldogs, making 19 saves in the contest.

UMD is now (2-3-1) this season and (0-1-1) in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).
