Bulldogs Can't Hold On Against No. 22 Wolves

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team led No. 22 Northern State University 37-29 at halftime but couldn't prevail down the stretch as the Wolves ousted the Bulldogs 70-59 on Saturday night.

Danielle Flood led the Bulldogs with 15 points while Hannah Rutten racked up 13 points and eight rebounds. Taylor Dillinger also finished in double-digits with 10.

The Wolves' Alison Kusler led all scorers with 24 points.

UMD (9-9) lost its second straight game at home and will have a week off before hosting Augustana Friday, Jan. 31 at 6:00 p.m.
