Bulldogs Jump to #4 in AVCA Top 25 Poll

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team jumped two spots to #4 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Division II poll, it was announced on Monday.

The Bulldogs received one first-place vote in the poll, one of four teams to have at least one first-place vote. UMD trails Nebraska-Kearney, Southwest Minnesota State, and Concordia-St. Paul in this week's poll.

The full results of this week's AVCA poll can be seen on the American Volleyball Coaches' Association web site.

UMD won five matches over the past week to move to (9-0) in the 2012 season, with the team next in action on September 14 at home against Northern State.
